Wouter Vandenameele & Laurent Beyer for Marketing Genius 2012!

Saturday the 26/11 was the day we have all been longing for. At the offices of the House of Marketing in Mechelen, the final event of the Marketing Genius took place. During this event with 70 attendees, the 10 finalists that were chosen by the jury out of the 150 semi-finalists, were invited to present and defend their point of view towards an audience of jury members and participants.

The 10 finalists were:

- Rob Van Alphen

- Rebecca Van Vaerenbergh

- Lode Soenen

- Wouter Vandenameele

- Matthias Barrie

- Ine Laleman

- Carla Tasiaux

- Kevin Somers

- Laurent Beyer

- Moos Tits

Once all presentations were given, the jury reflected all together and decided after a small hour on the winner. In the category students, they choose for Laurent Beyer, student Marketing Management at Vlerick, with his point of view on twitter for the retail sector. In the category young potentials, the winner is Wouter Vandenameele, currently employed as Account Manager at TBWA Brussels. His balanced point of view on social media for the retail sector convinced the judges.

Our winners go home with a Delta Lloyd Life Strategy plan, a Thomas Cook Travelbox, a coupon of €20 of Delhaize and an ice bucket filled with Desperados!

You can find the papers of the winners and the finalists under the winners tab soon!
